Time for another update on our innovation community resource guide. Many minds are better than one, and to make this an awesome resource we need everyone in the community to share their knowledge.

Since the "map" is already quite large (more than 300 entries), let's take it bit by bit. This week, I could use your help adding service providers.

I've heard busy founders say something like "I need to stop hiring myself." Finding the right accountant, lawyer or marketer can take those tasks off the entrepreneur's plate so they can focus on what they do best.

We're not looking to create a directory of all service providers in our region - I'd like to focus on the ones that have a reputation for helping startups, the ones that really "get it." Startups and community members, show your appreciation for those who have helped you out by adding them to the map.

Background: Over the last few months, I've written and spoken a lot about my desire to create a map of our innovation ecosystem, a living document that could show where the resources are, what amazing companies are here and how everything in our little corner of the world is connected.

Note that "map" may not be the right word. While there are some excellent mapping platforms out there, in the spirit of making this working document open to everyone and gathering information as quickly as possible, the information is currently housed in a Google spreadsheet. Don't be shy - edit away.
