DAVID E. SCHATZLE

David E. Schatzle, 82, of Central City, died Sunday, July 22, 2018, at Pearl Valley Rehab and Health Care in Washington, Iowa. A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date. Inurnment: Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.
Dave is survived by several friends, including Gary McGovern and his family. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Dave was born on July 24, 1935, in Cedar Rapids, the son of Carl and Grace Schatzle. He operated Schatzle and Rudd Tiling Business as well as Schatzle Machine Shop for many years.
He was a former member of the Iowa National Guard and was the type of man who could fix anything.
A memorial fund has been established.
