Ann Rosenthal has done a splendid job

To the editor:

I recommend school board candidate Ann Rosenthal to the voters of the Cedar Rapids Community School District. I have known Ann and her family for almost 20 years. I have watched her volunteer service on the school board with admiration since she was first elected in 1999. I served as a Democratic state senator from Cedar Rapids from 1971 to 1981 and I know that those who serve on school boards have a difficult job. She has done a splendid job for us.

She is a mechanical engineer with over 30 years of engineering experience. She has saved our school district many headaches and many dollars.

Take the time to vote. I'm a fiscal conservative. I'm voting for Ann. Join me and your pocketbook will thank you.
