Letter: Vernon and Vanorny offer bold leadership

We are just a few short years from 2020. That's a calling for all of us to seriously consider electing bold, new leadership to the Cedar Rapids City Council.

That is why I am supporting Monica Wolf Vernon and Ashley Vanorny in their respective races to serve me and my neighbors. They are running on passionate platforms of inclusion and progression, to help foster and nurture programs and policies that will help our city grow and prosper without leaving anyone behind.

They have a keen sense of community, positive communication skills and strong work ethics. That will go a long way for us as Cedar Rapids moves into another new decade and evolves into a sterling 21st century American city we call home.
