IOWA CITY - Mike Moore has been hired as the new boys' track and field coach at Iowa City High.
Moore is a 1986 City High graduate and received his B.A. in elementary education from Central College in Pella in 1991.
He has taught fifth grade at Lucas Elementary and coached in the Iowa City Community School District since 1992. He has been an assistant boys track coach at City High since 1999, primarily as a relay and hurdles coach.
