Who is served by the community letter entitled 'Coronavirus response provides liberal fodder,” March 29? Is it based on actual facts? Is it true? Is it kind? Is it necessary? Or is it polarizing, divisive, and inflammatory? Do we need this type of rhetoric right now?
Yes, everyone is entitled to their opinion. Yes, freedom of speech is an American right.
Liberal to conservative is a continuum and the range of ideas, ideals, and opinions of everyone on that continuum is important in guiding and protecting our country. However at the tail end of each of those endpoints, one may find extremists and zealots.
The 'coronavirus was a gift dropped in their lap.” Really? How can anyone think that, let alone print that type of opinion?
You can do better, Gazette, I know you can.
