New Employees
Jennifer Pruden (see photo)was named executive director of the Czech Village/New Bohemia Main Street District. She served on the board of the master plan steering committee and urban living committee of Downtown Eau Claire Inc. as well as the economic restructuring committee of Chippewa Falls, Wisc., Main Street.
Clickstop in Urbana announced three new employees: Nick Conrad (see photo) is in fulfillment and shipping at the company's Blue Creek Drive location; Sara Ritchie (see photo) is a marketing specialist in that same group; and Jenny Beatty (see photo) as a shipping assistant for the BellyBling.net website.
Penny Freeman (see photo) joined Cedar Rapids Counseling & Psychotherapy Group as a partner. Freeman had been with the Cedar Rapids Vet Center.
Altorfer Inc. in Cedar Rapids welcomed Andy Feckers (see photo) and Jason Flickinger (see photo) to the ag division. Fecker most recently worked for an ag dealership as an application equipment and precision controller technician. Flickinger had been a district sales manager for seed companies in Ohio.
Collins Community Credit Union hired Mary Jo Beebe (see photo) as real estate loan officer at its 5761 C St. SW, Cedar Rapids branch.
The Salvation Army in Johnson County announced the arrival of its new corps officers, Lieutenants William and Larisha Richardson.

Kevin Powell (see photo) was named president & CEO for Van Meter Inc.
Promotions
Jason Anderson (see photo) was named Paramount Theatre general manager for VenuWorks. Anderson began his venue management career at the U.S. Cellular Center.
Certification
Dr. Terri Cooper (see photo) and Julie Seckman (see photo) of Wholistic Wellness Clinic and Spa in Hiawatha received advanced training on the ASA Energy Balancing Laser. Seckman also received advanced certification as a Lifestyle Weight Management Coach.
Awards
Ron Rath, Sister Ladonna Woerdman, Carol Hanson and Cheryl Fiala earned the Competent Communicator Award from Hawkeye Toastmasters. Becky Howard and Anne Sposato each earned an advanced communication award. Earning leadership awards: Anne Sposato and Julie Reuter. Hawkeye Toastmasters earned the President's Distinguished award from Toastmasters International.
J.W. Morton & Associates's Dream Big campaign won two awards in the Iowa Bankers Association's 2011 Best of Iowa Bank Marketing Awards for Iowa Falls State Bank - the best campaign “with ad agency” and the People's Choice Award.
St. Luke's Behavioral Health Medical Emergency Team received the Innovation in Patient Care Award from the Iowa Organization of Nurse Leaders.
Chef's Table, a restaurant located in Iowa City, was featured in Wine Enthusiast Magazine's list of 100 Best Wine Restaurants of 2012.
