CEDAR RAPIDS - Former Northern Iowa basketball player Juwan McCloud said Monday on Twitter that he is transferring to Division II Minnesota State.
The 5-foot-11 point guard will have two years of playing eligibility remaining. McCloud started 54 games in two seasons for UNI, averaging 3.7 points per game as a freshman and 6.6 this past season.
UNI brings in a consensus top-100 point guard recruit this coming season in Cedar Falls freshman A.J. Green, son of Panthers associated head coach Kyle Green.
