Hannah Lynn Kaiser, 22, of Iowa City, formerly of Cedar Rapids, died Tuesday, Dec. 15, 2015, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 21, at King of Kings Lutheran Church, Cedar Rapids. Visitation will be from 2 until 5 p.m. Sunday at Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home, Cedar Rapids.
Hannah was born Jan. 25, 1993, in Cedar Rapids to Boyd Kaiser and Joan Heiden DeHeus. She graduated from Kennedy High School class of 2011 and currently was a student at the University of Iowa.
Hannah's legacy will continue; she gave the gift of life through organ and tissue donation.
She is survived by her parents, Boyd (Deb) Kaiser and Joan DeHeus, both of Cedar Rapids; brother, Jacob Kaiser of West Virginia; sister, Ellie Kaiser of Cedar Rapids; paternal grandmother, Marlene Greenlee of York, Neb.; and maternal grandmother, Harleen (Earl) Bicknase of Hampton, Neb.
A memorial in Hannah's name has been established to benefit mental health research.
