Former Prairie prep Schebler to Wichita State

Former Cedar Rapids Prairie multi-sport athlete Scott Schebler has verbally committed to continue his college baseball career next year at Wichita State.
Schebler is a freshman outfielder at Des Moines Area Community College and will have three seasons of eligibility with the Shockers. He is hitting .462 with a .769 slugging percentage in DMACC's first nine games.
"You can't beat that coaching staff," Schebler told the Wichita Eagle. "It was a pretty easy choice. They know how to develop players. That's one thing I really need to do is develop."
