Sylvester John "Jake" Mullis, 93, of Manchester, passed away Sunday, July 8, 2018, at Marietta's Place in Manchester.
Survivors include his four children, Audry Anderegg of Manchester, Dave (Mary Ann) Mullis of Greeley, Ann (Dan "Boone") Schulte of Manchester and Karen (Kim) Harbaugh of Manchester; 18 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; four stepgreat-grandchildren; six siblings, Leo (Rosie) Mullis, Esther Klee, Mary Ann Troesch, Oscar (Marilyn) Mullis and Joe (Mary Alice) Mullis, all of Indiana, and LeRoy (Elaine) Mullis of Earlville; and many nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial: 11:30 a.m. Thursday, July 12, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Manchester with the Rev. Gabriel Anderson officiating. Visitation: 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, July 11, at Leonard-Muller Funeral Home in Manchester. Friends may also call from 10 a.m. until Mass Thursday at the church. Interment: St. Mary Catholic Cemetery, Manchester.
