North Liberty
Rodney R. "Rod" Young, 62, of North Liberty, died Tuesday, Sept. 9, 2015, at his home. Visitation will be Friday from 3 to 6:30 p.m. at the Kirkwood Room, 515 Kirkwood Ave., Iowa City (just west of Lensing Funeral Service). A celebration and time of sharing will begin at 6:30 p.m.
Memorials may be directed to the Rodney Young Memorial Fund.
He is survived by his wife, Donna; son, Brian Young (Erica) of Cosgrove; daughter, Alicia (Matt) Hayes of Cedar Rapids; son, Scott Young (Misty) of Coralville; two grand-daughters, Emma and Claire Hayes; a brother, Greg Young (Sharon) of Blairstown; and a lifelong friend, Mike (Sue) Clements of Iowa City.
