Kevin Dale Annis, 53, of Central City, passed away Wednesday, May 27, 2015, at his home. Funeral service: 11:30 a.m. Saturday, May 30, at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Central City, by Lisa Becker. The family will greet friends prior to the service beginning at 9 a.m. Saturday, May 30, at the funeral home. Private family inurnment will be held at a later date.
Survivors include his three daughters, Linsey (Thomas) Eiben of Central City, Kim (Matt) Johnson of Monticello, and Samantha; grandchildren, Addison, Mason and Parker; his mother, Helen Annis of Central City; and sisters, Chris (Kevin) Anderson of Independence, Mo., and Lorna Draves of Cedar Rapids.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Catherine Mary Annis; father, Loren Annis; and grandmother, Margaret Annis.
Kevin was born Aug. 22, 1961, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the son of Loren and Helen Annis. He graduated from Central City High School. Kevin was united in marriage on June 18, 1983, to Catherine Mary Becker. Kevin worked with ReConserve of Iowa Inc. as a forklift operator.
