COLLEEN "COLLIE" R. MORRISSEY Cedar Rapids Colleen "Collie" R. Morrissey, 62, died Thursday, Oct. 25, 2018, at the Dennis & Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy in Hiawatha. A private service will be held at a later date. She is survived by her daughter, Brianne (Travis) Johnson; brother, Patrick Morrissey of Cedar Rapids; sisters, Regina Morrissey of Lakewood, Colo., and Peggy Schneider of Iowa City; four grandchildren, Tyler, Isaac, Caroline and Gideon; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was preceded in her death by her parents, John and Carol (Laschanzky) Morrissey. Colleen graduated from Fort Madison Community High School. She was part owner and secretary/treasurer of Truck Repair Inc. in Fort Madison for many years. She was a board member of Peer Action Disability Support (PADS) in Cedar Rapids and volunteered with many other organizations. She loved reading, Willie Nelson and her dogs.
