MARION MAN FACES MURDER CHARGE — Police say Carrie Davis was dead for several days before her body was discovered Monday outside a rental home on Hillview Drive near Hanna Park in Marion. On Tuesday, Gregory Davis, 27, of Marion, was charged with first-degree murder in her death. IOWA WOMAN KILLED IN LAS VEGAS MASSACRE — A family member Tuesday evening confirmed the death of Sutherland, Iowa, resident Carly Kreibaum, a victim in the largest mass shooting in U.S. history. Kreibaum, a native of Sibley, Iowa, was believed to be one of at least 59 people shot and killed during a Sunday night incident in which lone gunman Stephen Paddock opened fire on a crowd of some 22,000 people attending the Route 91 Harvest Festival, a country-music extravaganza on the Las Vegas Strip.
