Allbee, Brenda L.
Brenda L. Allbee, 45, of 5900 Ely Rd. SW, Cedar Rapids, died Wednesday, Oct. 21, 2009, in her home. Services: 9:30 a.m. Saturday at First Lutheran Church, Cedar Rapids, by the Rev. Craig Brown. Visitation: 5 to 8 tonight at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids. Burial: Grant Cemetery, Grant, Iowa.
Survivors include her children, Jessica Allbee of West Branch and Shawn Allbee of North Liberty; fiance, David Weber; granddaughter, Jocelyn Lea Morgan; brother, Mark Gebhart of Littleton, Colo.; and Dave's mother, Nancy Weber.
Brenda was preceded in death by her parents.
Brenda was born July 3, 1964, in Des Moines, the daughter of Marion and Savilla (Weston) Gebhart. She graduated from Spencer College of Business. For 10 years she was employed by Centro Inc.
Brenda's new grandbaby and her family and friends brought her great joy. She also liked watching her children in sports and shopping.
The family would like to express their appreciation to Wendy Hurley for the compassionate care she gave Brenda during the past two years of her illness.
Memorials may be made to Mercy Hospice in Cedar Rapids.
