ARNOLD "DOC" DEAN KROTZ

Arnold "Doc" Dean Krotz, 77, of Tipton, entered eternal rest Nov. 5, 2015. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Nov. 7, at 11 a.m. at Fry Funeral Home, Tipton, Iowa. Visitation will be held on Saturday, Nov. 7, from 9 to 11 a.m., also at Fry Funeral Home. Online condolences may be shared at www.fryfuneralhome.com.
Arnold was born Oct. 23, 1938, in Iowa City, Iowa, son of James and Rose (Baker) Krotz. He attended Tipton High School through the 10th grade. Arnold was employed with the city of Tipton for 25 years, establishing lifelong friendships with many. He was also a custodian at Kirkwood. Arnold had a talent very few knew about: music. He could play the piano beautifully, along with just about any instrument that was placed in and at his hands. Always kind, always polite, this is how Arnold is remembered.
Arnold was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Delores Krotz; and brother, Lee Krotz.
