Carver, Weston Edwin
Weston Edwin Carver, 85, of Loveland, Colo., died March 5, 2010.
He was born March 28, 1924, in Marion, Iowa, to Carl W. and Fairy Marie Carver. He attended school in Marion, Iowa.
On Sept. 1, 1995, he married Lucille Alice Palmer in Meridian, Idaho.
Mr. Carver owned a dairy, then grain farm. He was an owner-operator in trucking and finally a door greeter for Sam's Club.
He proudly served in the Timber Wolf Unit of the United States Army during World War II.
Weston spent a lifetime in service for the General Council Churches of God Seventh Day, serving on church boards nationally and locally.
He enjoyed traveling, camping, rock hunting and spending time with family. He will be missed for his sense of humor and zest for life.
Mr. Carver is survived by his wife Lucille of Loveland, daughters Mary Ann (and husband Don) Syvanen of Wyoming, Joyce (and husband Steven) Boone of Missouri, Alice (and husband DeWayne) Day of Colorado, Jeanne (and husband David) Adams of Colorado, and son Wayne (and wife Ellen) Carver of Mississippi, his sister Shirley Burrell of Iowa, and 26 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by both parents and one sister.
A memorial service will be held at Allnutt Funeral Home, 2100 North Lincoln Ave., Loveland, on March 11th, 2010, at 2 p.m. View the online obituary and sign the guest book at www.allnutt.com.
