Marilyn J. Irvin went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, Dec. 8, 2018. She was welcomed to God's open arms peacefully at home after all her children had gathered. Visitation will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 23, at Gay & Ciha Funeral and Cremation Service. A service will follow with the Rev. Erling Shultz officiating. A private family burial will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to either Hospice Compassus or the Iowa City Animal Shelter. Online condolences may be sent for her family through the web at www.gayandciha.com.
