Roepke, Kenneth
Kenneth Roepke, 57, died Thursday, May 16, 2013, at Woodward State Hospital in Woodward. Services: 10:30 a.m. Monday, May 20, at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, Independence. Burial: Floral Hills Cemetery, Hazleton. Friends may call from 4 until 7 p.m. Sunday, May 19, at Fawcett Funeral Home in Winthrop and after 9:30 a.m. Monday at the church.
Survivors include two sisters, Annette (Bill) Reimer of Elkader and Mary (Duane) Gerstenberger of Seattle, Wash.; two brothers, Donald (Donna) Roepke of Brandon and Leland (Kate Hemingway) Roepke of Winthrop; 12 nieces and nephews; and two aunts, Juanita Hotchkiss of Cedar Rapids and Margaret “Peg” Jakway of Minneapolis.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Carolyn (Jakway) Roepke; and a brother, William (Bill) Roepke.
