Kasich announces Eastern Iowa supporters

CEDAR RAPIDS - Ahead of a campaign swing through Iowa, including a stop in Cedar Rapids, Ohio Gov. John Kasich has announced new members of his Iowa leadership teams.
Kasich for America announced 28 current and former public officials, and business and community leaders who have endorsed his campaign for the 2016 GOP presidential nomination. The Leadership Team will work under the direction of Rep. Mary Ann Hanusa, the campaign's Iowa state campaign chairwoman, and former Speaker of the Iowa House Brent Siegrist, both of Council Bluffs.
Eastern Iowans who are part of the Kasich leadership team include: former Sen. Andy McKean, Anamosa; Jason Besler, Cedar Rapids, Linn County assistant attorney; John Smith, Cedar Rapids, chairman of CRST International; Ken Donnelly, West Liberty; and Joseph Patten, Cedar Rapids, chairman of Mainstream Management.
Kasich will be in Iowa Nov. 2 for events in Des Moines and a private fundraiser at Smith's Cedar Rapids home.
