Farmer, Grace 'Pat'
Grace “Pat” Farmer, 86, of Des Moines, died Thursday, June 7, 2012, at Kavanagh House. Private entombment: Linwood Cemetery. Arrangements by Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include son, Neil Christensen of Las Vegas; daughter, Kim (Mike) Voshell of Indianola; brother, Patrick (Sandy) Frank of Cedar Rapids; five grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded by her parents; husband, Archie Farmer; and brothers, Jimmie and Harry Vernon.
Gracie was born Dec. 10, 1925, in Cedar Rapids, daughter of Jess and Francis Vernon. On Sept. 16, 1977, she married Archie, who passed away in 1997.
