Mary Jane O'Hara, 75, formerly of Marengo, slipped away peacefully at home in Michigan on Friday, June 19, 2015.
She is survived by her brother, Gary Van Cura; her children, Teresa Pietraz, Julie (Allen) Koenig, Scott (Crystal) Shay and John (Becky) Shay; her grandchildren, Damon (Chistine) Pietraz, Deatra Pietraz, Alex (Kayla) Koenig, Kelsey (Benjamin) Timm, Michael Shay, Megan Shay, Chris Miller, Isabel Miller, Eric Shay and Molly Shay; and three great-grandchildren, Aubrey, Hayden and Harwell. She also leaves behind her fur babies, Tucker, Mama, Jenny Sue, Tinkerbell, Rosie and Itty Bit.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry O'Hara; and her parents, Margrette Guetzko and Donald Van Cura.
A celebration of life is planned for Sunday, June 28, from 2 to 5 p.m. at Lucky 6 Lanes Bowling Alley in Marengo.
A memorial fund has been set up in her name.
