Johnson County unable to issue vehicle registrations, license plates
IOWA CITY - Johnson County is unable to issue license plates and motor vehicle registration documents while the state works to repair its motor vehicle system.
The Department of Transportation's system has been down since Thursday, according to a news release from the county. The outage is only affecting Johnson County.
The state is working to restore service.
