Dale Mathew Lawrence died in Tuscaloosa, Ala., on March 20, 2015. He was 86 years old.
Dale was originally from Iowa, where he grew up on his family's farm in Anamosa. He served in the United States Navy during World War II. After the war, he settled in Duluth, Minn., and worked at the St. Louis County Sheriff's office as head of the warrants division.
Following retirement, he moved to Beaverton, Ore., with his wife, Margaret.
Dale was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Mike, Gilbert, Everett and Rick; and his wife, Margaret.
He is survived by his daughters, Cynthia and Sondra Lawrence; his sons-in-law, John Mason and David Martin; his sisters, Genevieve Kula and Dorothy Jensen; and his beloved granddaughter, Keesha Aakriti Lawrence Mason.
