Gladys Huber, 82, of Cedar Rapids, died Friday, Jan. 6, 2017, in a nursing home. A celebration of Gladys' life will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 14, at 700 35th St., Marion. There will be a potluck with family members providing the main dish; guests are asked to bring a covered dish.
Survivors include her son, Kenneth (Connie) Huber; brother, Albert Hansen; sisters, Eileene Sauer, Dorothy Freese and Elizabeth Rathel; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, several sisters and brothers, and a grandchild.
Gladys' greatest loves were raising her son, and her church, First Church of Nazarene.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to the family at 382 Lesley Lane NE, Cedar Rapids, IA 52402.
A special thank-you is extended to Living Center West for the wonderful care they provided Gladys for the past 15 years.
