Mary Ann Cull, 52, of Tiffin, Iowa, formerly of Alburnett, Iowa, passed from this life on Thursday, April 26, 2018, at the Hospice Home of Johnson County, Iowa City, Iowa.
Parish Vigil service for family and friends will be held at 4 p.m. Thursday, May 3, 2018, at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 3855 Katz Dr., Marion. Visitation will be from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. with a Recitation of the Rosary at the conclusion of the visitation. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, May 4, 2018, at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church, 618 E. Davenport St., Iowa City, with the Rev. Gary Beckman officiating. Committal services will take place at 2:30 p.m. Friday at Lafayette Cemetery, rural Alburnett.
Mary Ann was born Feb. 6, 1966, in Muscatine, Iowa, the daughter of Ray and Harriet Cull. She was a 1984 graduate of Alburnett High School and earned her bachelors degree from the University of Iowa, College of Pharmacy in 1989. Mary Ann was employed most of her career at the Iowa Drug Information Service and also at the University of Iowa. She was a member of St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in Iowa City. Mary Ann enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved her.
Mary Ann is survived by her parents, Ray and Harriet Cull of Alburnett; and two brothers, Brian (Susan) Cull and their children, Molly and Kevin, all of Metamora, Ill., and John (Valerie) Cull and their son, Ethan, all of Alburnett.
She was preceded into eternal life by her grandparents.
In lieu of flowers, the family has respectfully requested that any memorial contributions in Mary Ann's memory may be made to St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church or the Hospice Home of Johnson County, both of Iowa City.
