Cassidy, Ann L.
Ann L. Cassidy, 96, of Maquoketa, Iowa, died Thursday, June 20, 2013, at Maquoketa Care Center. Her Memorial Service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 25, at Lahey Funeral Home in Maquoketa.
Ann was born Jan. 4, 1917, to Henry and Alvina (Bauers) Drossel in Marietta, Minn. She was united in marriage to Ralph Robvsky Sr. in January 1935. She was then divorced and united in marriage to Earl Cassidy in Minnesota in 1955.
She loved visiting people, baseball (New York Yankees), garage sales and fishing. She even had the nickname “Catfish Annie.” Ann attended the First Lutheran Church in Maquoketa.
Ann is survived by one son, Ralph (Eileen) Robvsky of Maquoketa; four grandchildren, Ann Marie Stedman, Ralph Robvsky III, Nicolette Kumar and Kristine Robvsky; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two husbands; one brother, Rolph; one sister, Helen; and one brother, Hankey.
