Mueller, William M.
William J. Mueller, 74, of Cedar Rapids, passed away at St. Luke's Hospital on Nov. 11, 2010. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
William was born Jan. 11, 1936, the son of Julius and Margaret (Bearends) Mueller. He joined the Navy in January 1953 and served our country for four years. He later returned and worked as a fireman for the city of Cedar Rapids for 25 years before his retirement in 1989.
He greatly enjoyed his time fishing and taking long walks.
