Smith, Lynn Marie
Lynn Marie Smith, 44, of Cedar Rapids, died Thursday, May 3, 2012. Funeral Mass: 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Matthew Catholic Church by the Rev. David Beckman. Inurnment: Mount Calvary Cemetery in Cedar Rapids. Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include her mother, Fran K. Smith of Cedar Rapids; her siblings, Lawrence (Sarah) Smith of Cedar Rapids, Michael (Karen) Smith of Urbandale, Iowa, and Thomas (Carynn) Smith of Robins; her aunts and uncles, Marianne (John) Barnes of Swisher, Jeanette Smith of Cedar Rapids, John Smith of Cedar Rapids, Diane (Pat) Miller of New York, Daryl (Jean) Walker of Illinois and Fred (Geri) Walker of Des Moines; her nieces and nephews, Ashley, Jacob, Gavin, Brandon, Hunter and Harrison; and her beloved dog, Jeter.
She was preceded in death by her father, Richard L. Smith; grandparents, Glen and Mary Smith and Frank and Evelyn Walker; and an uncle, Bob Smith.
Lynn was born Nov. 11, 1967, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the daughter of Richard and Fran (Walker) Smith. She was an inspector with Whirlpool Refrigeration in Amana. She enjoyed traveling, especially to the Caribbean. Lynn was always helping people and will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
