NORA RAMIREZ Marion Family and friends will gather for a visitation from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday, Feb. 9, at Mission Park Funeral Chapel North, San Antonio. Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 10, at Dellview Baptist Church, 454 Beryl Dr., San Antonio, Texas. Burial will follow in Mission Burial Park North. She was born Jan. 3, 1960, to Charles and Janice (Roszell) Slater in Marion, Iowa. She graduated from Marion High School. She attended Iowa State University and Texas A&M, Kingsville, and graduated with a master's degree. Nora taught school at Meadows Elementary in DeSoto. She married Marcos Ramirez on Jan. 21, 1990, in San Antonio. Nora is survived by her loving husband, Marcos; her parents, Charles and Janice Slater; a son, Tyler C. Ramirez; a daughter, Ashlynn N. Ramirez; two sisters, Sandy (Philip) Krumm and Lynda (Cal) Pearson; and a stepdaughter, Leah Kornegay.
