C. Ramona McKibbin, 95,
of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, passed away on Thursday, April 9, 2020. A private graveside service with burial will be held at the Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.
Carrie Ramona Howen was born on Nov. 18, 1924, in Roland, Iowa, the daughter of Wilbur and Hazel (Hanson) Howen. She was united in marriage to Bill McKibbin on June 21, 1947. She enjoyed a long career as an RN, followed by working for the Cedar Rapids Community School District in the cafeteria in her later years. She and Bill spent more than 20 years in Arizona during the winter months. She loved playing bingo and dominos, and spending time with family and friends.
Ramona is survived by her daughter, Karen Kaiser; son, Mark (Bonnie) McKibbin; grandchildren, Keith, Nathan (Caitlin) and Travis (Kendra) Kaiser; nine great-grandchildren; sister, Donna Jensen; and nephew, Denny Jensen.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill McKibbin; parents; son-in-law, Ken Kaiser; and granddaughter, Melissa McKibbin.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Ramona's daughter, Karen Kaiser, to be given to a charity of the family's choosing.
