Gorman, Leo Francis
Leo Francis Gorman, 76, of Surprise, Ariz., passed away April 11, 2013.
Leo, a native of Cedar Rapids, graduated from Immaculate Conception High School, and Loras College, Dubuque. A career teacher, he worked for the Syracuse, N.Y., Public Schools for 25 years.
Leo is survived by his wife, Margaret (Althouse); three children, Michael of Houston, Texas, Leanne Dudas of Manassas, Va., and Elizabeth Brown of Surprise, Ariz.; grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Virginia, Jack, Gigi, William and Zachary; two sisters, Joan Fitzpatrick of Sun City West, Ariz., and Patricia Ford of Seattle, Wash.; and many nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Mass will be 10 a.m. Thursday, April 25, at St. Clare of Assisi Catholic Church in Surprise, Ariz.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Mary's Food Bank, 2831 N 31st Ave., Phoenix, AZ 85017.
