Kathryn Ann (Kotek) Fuhrman, 88, of Volga, died Friday, Feb. 5, 2016, at Gunderson Lutheran in LaCrosse, Wis. Mass of Christian Burial: 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 11, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Volga. Visitation: 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Leonard Funeral Home in Elkader and one hour before Mass Thursday at the church. Burial: St. Albert Catholic Cemetery, Lamont. Leonard Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Elkader is in charge of arrangements.
Kathryn is survived by her two children, Joan (Del) Schreck of Holmen, Wis., and Jim (Jill) Fuhrman of Volga; four grandchildren, Chandler Head and Kathryn (Mike) McCormack, both of Salt Lake City, Utah, BJ (Jolie) Fuhrman of Johnston and Leah (Alec) Zwanziger of Strawberry Point; two great-grandchildren, Drew and Lauren Tegels; brother, Dean (Eileen) Kotek of Lamont; brothers-in-law, Glen (Beulah Mae) Fuhrman of Ferrryville, Wis., and Duane Fuhrman of Eleysian, Minn.; and several nieces and nephews.
