Daniel J. Zitelman, 86, of Manchester, died Saturday, Jan. 3, 2015, at the Regional Medical Center in Manchester.
Dan is survived by his wife of 63 years, Joan; his six children, Mary Kay (Selwyn) Rash of Ellsworth, Dan (Joan) of Dyersville, Barb (Al) Benning of Cedar Rapids, Mike (Margo) of Arlington, Dave (Janet) of Strawberry Point and John (Daphne) of Alma, Mo.; 22 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and two sisters-in-law, Penny Zitelman of Reno, Nev., and Patricia Corkery of Cedar Rapids.

Mass of Christian Burial: 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 7, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Masonville, by the Rev. Joseph Schneider. Visitation: 3 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 6, at Leonard-Muller Funeral Home, Manchester, where there will be a 3 p.m. Scripture service. Friends also may call from 9 until 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Inurnment will be at a later date at St. Mary Catholic Cemetery, Masonville.
