Loretta Ann Dvorak, 80, of Cedar Rapids, passed away Saturday, Oct. 8, 2016. There will be a private graveside service on Tuesday, Oct. 11, at St. Wenceslaus Cemetery, rural Clutier.
Survivors include her brothers, Larry Dvorak of Clutier and Ron (Linda) Dvorak of Traer; sister, Rebecca Swierz of Evanston, Ill.; five nephews; a niece; and 13 great-nieces and great-nephews.
Loretta was born Oct. 8, 1936, in Marshalltown, Iowa, to Lewis and Julia (Kuynka) Dvorak, growing up on the family farm. She graduated from Clutier High School and Cedar Rapids Business College. Loretta worked in investments and insurance at Morris Plan and AEGON Life Insurance. After retirement, she served as a condo association treasurer.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Instead of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Dennis and Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy in Hiawatha, where Loretta volunteered much of her time for the last several years.
