ALLEN "BUD" MATHEWS
Lander, Wyo.
Allen "Bud" Mathews, 74, of Lander, Wyo., passed away May 22, 2016, following a short illness.
A Celebration of Life will be held 3 p.m. Saturday, June 25, at the home of Randy and Jen Lehman, 3251 Brandon Diagonal Blvd., Brandon, Iowa. Please dress casually (Western). A potluck dinner will follow the service.
Bud was born May 12, 1942, the son of James and Maxine Wilde Mathews of Walker, Iowa.
He is survived by his wife, Joann Connelly Mathews of Lander, Wyo.; three daughters, Lorie Folwer of Chattaroy, Wash., Dena McBride of Airway Heights, Wash., and Lynette Vincent of Haverhill, N.H.; a son, Scott Mathews of Haverhill; two stepsons, Kenny (Roni) Connelly of Lander and Deno (Deb) Connelly of Casper, Wyo.; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; siblings, Donna Rauch of Troy Mills, Loren (Carol) Mathews of Donna, Texas, Sharon (Delbert) Koopman of Vinton, Leila Stainbrook of Shoshoni, Wyo., Gale (Bonnie) Mathews of La Porte City and Dan (Deb) Mathews of Walker; and sister-in-law, Betty Mathews of Walker.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Lonnie Mathews; brother, James Dean; brothers-in-law, Walter Rauch and Jerry Stainbrook; and first wife, Rosetta.
