Dirks, Bonadyne 'Bonnie'
Bonadyne “Bonnie” Dirks, 90, of Cedar Rapids, passed away at St. Luke's Hospital on Friday, Aug. 23, 2013.
Bonnie was predeceased by her husband of 60 years, Harold; and her daughter, Diane Peters of Clifton Park, N.Y.
Surviving family members include her daughter, Darlene Armstrong and husband Joe of Omaha, Neb.; her son, David Dirks and wife Ann of Omaha, Neb.; her son-in-law, Mike Peters of Clifton Park, N.Y.; her beloved grandchildren, Jennifer Peters McCurry of Pittsburgh, Pa., John Peters of Clifton Park, N.Y., and Emma Dirks and David Dirks of Omaha, Neb.; and her great-grandchildren, Peter and Zoe Peters McCurry of Pittsburgh, Pa.
A viewing will be held Sunday at Teahen Funeral Home from 1 to 3 p.m.
Services: 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 31, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Coleridge, Neb. Graveside services will follow in Belden, Neb. Her family will greet family and friends from noon until the start of services Saturday. Wintz Funeral Home, Hartington, Neb., is serving the family.
