Dunn, Harry 'Bud'
Harry “Bud” Dunn, 86, of Tampa, Fla., formerly of Cedar Rapids and Marion, died Thursday, Feb. 28, 2013, at Tampa General Hospital. Private services and burial will be held.
Survivors include his wife, Beverly; daughters, Terri, Tracy, Toni and Ree; a brother, Robert and wife Nancy of New Brighton, Pa.; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Donald Buss of Cedar Rapids; and sisters-in-law, Dixie (Ed) Mathisen and Verlene Nelson.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Bud was a remarkable man who served his country in the Submarine Service during World War II. He then went on to become fire chief in his hometown of Beaver Falls, Pa. He was a member of the U.S. Submarine Veterans of World War II, Elks, American Legion and VFW.
He was loved by all and will be greatly missed by those whose lives he touched.
Memorials may be made to First Lutheran Church in Cedar Rapids.
