Dorothy E. Shipman, 91, of Lakewood, Colo., formerly of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, was born Feb. 19, 1925, and passed May 3, 2016.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer H. Shipman; and her daughter, Sharon Jean Shipman.
She is survived by Ronald J. (Carolyn) and Donald L. (Anita); and was the grandmother of Andy (Tami), Kelley, Aaron (Kelli) and Drew (Wendy); and great-grandmother of Tristan, Hailey, Alexa, Riley, Shea, Camden and Avery.
She was a member of Eastern Star Metro Chapter 157 and Denver Assembly No. 1 Social Order of the Beauceant.
Memorial services: 11 a.m. Saturday, May 21, at Phillips United Methodist Church, 1450 S. Pierce St., Lakewood, Colo.
