Dianne Biddle was born Aug. 8, 1953, to Morris and Wanda (Robinett) Biddle in Oakridge, Ore. Her family moved back to this area when she was a young girl. Dianne graduated from Belle Plaine High School, where she met her high school sweetheart, Jim Wauters. On Sept. 25, 1971, the couple was married at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Vining.
Dianne was a homemaker during the early years of her marriage and eventually worked as a teacher's aide at South Tama Schools. She retired about 15 years ago to spend more time with her grandchildren and fulfill her role as super grandma.
Dianne enjoyed flowers, spending time working in her garden, dancing with Jim, and she loved to follow her grandkids to all their different activities.
She was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church in Belle Plaine and a proud member of the Bunco Babe's Dice Club.
She is survived by her husband, Jim, of 44 years; children, Lance (Tracy) Wauters of Elberon, Nessa Doria of Urbandale, Laura (Ryan) Ridout of Vining and Sarah (Ian) Hoffman of Oxford; grandchildren, Adam, Layne, Isabel, Aiden, Paige, Cecilia, Rylee, Scout, JoLee, Cooper, Reece, Gavin and Talen; siblings, Jim (Bonnie) Biddle, Rose (Jack) Clement, Wes (Brenda) Biddle, Doug Biddle and Tim Biddle; brother-in-law, Ron Wauters; sister-in-law, Marilyn (Tom) Overman; and many more loving family and friends.
Dianne was preceded in death by her parents and granddaughter, Taylor Wauters.
