Cooper, Kyle B.
Kyle B. Cooper, 15, of Cedar Rapids, passed away Thursday, June 20, 2013, at his home. Visitation will be held Tuesday, June 25, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories. Service will be held Wednesday, June 26, at 11 a.m. at First Assembly of God with Pastor Rick Gail officiating. Burial will be held at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.
Kyle Brendon Cooper was born on Feb. 26, 1998, to Byron and Mayela Rodriguez Cooper in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. He was a student at Linn-Mar. Kyle enjoyed skateboarding, video games (Halo was his favorite), making video game movies, golfing (especially driving the cart), bike riding, playing his cello, riding motorcycles, and playing with his dog, Coco. He especially enjoyed spending time at home with his family.
He is survived by his father, Byron of Cedar Rapids; mother, Mayela of California; brother, Ken Cooper of Cedar Rapids; grandparents, Sandy Geller, Vernon (Connie) Cooper, and Raymond Rodriguez; aunt, Heather Engle; uncle, Ryan Cooper; many aunts and uncles in California; and a host of family and friends.
Kyle was preceded in death by his grandmother, Margarita Crespo.
