Sullivan, Patricia 'Patti'

Patricia “Patti” Sullivan, 56, of Marion, Iowa, formerly from St. Joseph, Mich., died Wednesday, Aug. 4, 2010, in Columbus, Ohio. A Mass celebrating her life will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 14, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Marion. Services and burial were held in St. Joseph, Mich., by the Dey-Florin Chapel of Florin Funeral Service in St. Joseph, Mich. (269) 983-1514.

Patti was born Oct. 27, 1953, in St. Joseph, Mich., to Donald and Thelma Potts. She married her husband, Dennis Sullivan, on May 27, 1978, in St. Joseph, and together they have celebrated 32 years of marriage. Patti moved to Marion in 1981. She was a media assistant in the Linn-Mar Public Schools. She enjoyed sewing, crafting, shopping and gardening. Patti was a caring and friendly individual who was generous to everyone. Most important of all she was very family-oriented.

She is survived by her husband, Dennis of Marion; her children, James Sullivan of Marion and Colleen (Josh) Osborne of Dublin, Ohio; her sisters, Donna (Michael) Potts-Osborne and Marjorie Potts, both of St. Joseph, Mich.; and her two grandchildren, one nephew and one niece.
