Speed limits set for safety reasons

The speed law violators who are protesting their citations apparently don't care about traffic safety and need to know why the cameras that exposed them are in operation.
The speed limits set on the highways and other streets are not some favorite number of some enforcement officer, but are derived from intensive study by traffic engineers who consider the terrain, type of road, the area, traffic density as well as other factors, but most importantly, the prevention of accidents.
You will not find law enforcement people who work speed involved accidents joining those who insist on playing the speed game.
One of the main reasons for the Interstate 380 camera is because of the danger to those officers who we count on to make the roads safer for all of us.
Fortunately, there is a very simple way to avoid becoming one of the sorry violators who are blaming everyone but themselves for their dilemma. It is three short words, obey the law.
