Douglas R. Maas, 61, of Kewanee, Ill., formerly of Williamsburg, went home to meet his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Monday evening, Aug. 17, 2015. He died at Royal Oaks Care Center, Kewanee, from complications of Huntington's disease. Funeral service: 2:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 21, St. Timothy Lutheran Church, Williamsburg. Burial: St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery, Williamsburg. Visitation: 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 20, at the church with a prayer service at 8 p.m.
A memorial fund has been established. Kloster Funeral Home, Marengo, is assisting the family with arrangements.
Douglas is survived by his mother, Lucille Weiss Maas and several cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, Richard on Oct. 13, 1989.
