Monica Craig, 48, of Hopkinton, formerly of Dyersville and Anamosa, died unexpectedly Wednesday, Jan. 13, 2021, at UnityPoint Health Jones Regional Medical Center in Anamosa.

Monica Marie Hahn, was born May 8, 1972, in New Hampton, Iowa, the daughter of Larry and Barb (Schmidt) Hahn. She attended schools in New Hampton and later in Anamosa. She was a member of the Anamosa High School Class of 1990.
She will be remembered as a wonderful soul who had a heart of gold. Monica enjoyed garage sales, arts and crafts fairs, and second hand stores. Without hesitation she would help anyone she could and did so for her parents many times. She loved spending time with her dog, Kash and her many friends and family, especially arguing with her dad.
She is survived by a son, James Craig, Travis AFB, Calif.; her parents, Larry and Barb, Monticello; a sister, Lisa Hahn, Dallas, Texas; a brother, Brian Hahn, Waterloo; a niece, Morgan Hahn; a nephew, Gage Hahn; as well as by several aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents.
