Letter: Monica Vernon is an accomplished leader

Gridlock: A familiar word and most frequently associated with our 435 members of Congress and our 100 Senators in Washington, D.C.
Frustration: Another familiar word to constituents back in the home states of these elected officials.
Change: If we expect to break the impasse, we need experienced collaborators who care about finding solutions to problems.
In Iowa's 1st Congressional District, we have the chance to send an accomplished and skillful community leader to represent us: Monica Vernon. Party politics have not achieved any meaningful progress for either side of the aisle for a long time and that's why I'm voting for Monica Vernon for Congress.
