LaVera Louise Smith VanDuyn, 87, of Littleport, died Sunday, Aug. 4, 2013, at the Edgewood Convalescent Home. Funeral Service: 11 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 8, at Edgewood Bible Church in Edgewood, Iowa. Officiating: Pastor Mike Jackson and Pastor Lin Reichstadter. Visitation: 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Leonard-Muller Funeral Home in Edgewood and from 9 to 11 a.m. Thursday at the church. Interment: Family Cemetery, near Mederville, Iowa.
Survivors include her five children, Ilona (Allyn) Durey of Manchester, Lavera Cutchlow of McGregor, Danny (Lisa) Smith of Keosauqua, Lanny Smith of Sabula and John Smith of Arlington; 19 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
