LEONARD F. DOLEZAL

Leonard F. Dolezal, 95, of Cedar Rapids, died at his home late Saturday, March 31, 2018. No funeral services are planned at this time. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery. Papich-Kuba Funeral Service, Cedar Rapids, is assisting the family.
Leonard is survived by his son, Ken (Martha) Dolezal of Montrose, Colo.; and three grandchildren, Damon, Anna and Alexandria.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn; infant daughter, Karen Kay; and his parents.
Leonard was born April 26, 1922, in Solon, Iowa, the son of Frank and Anna (Vorel) Dolezal. He married Evelyn D. Staskal on June 6, 1944, in Fairfax, Iowa. She died June 28, 1999.
Leonard was a lifelong farm owner and operator in Linn and Johnson counties. He was a longtime member of St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church.
Leonard's family wishes to thank all the people who provided care for him in these last years, especially Hospice of Mercy and The Woodlands at The Meth-Wick Community.
