Dabler, Donna Miller South
Donna Miller South Dabler, 65, died Wednesday, June 15, 2011, at LaVista, Neb. Her body was cremated; there will be no formal funeral. Family and friends will gather for a celebration of her life at Lake Iowa, Shelter #5, 2550 G Ave., Ladora, Iowa, August 13, 2011, 2 to 4 p.m. Refreshments will be served.
Donna Miller was born Oct. 16, 1945, near Parnell, Iowa, to Milo and Wilma (Misel) Miller. She grew up near North English, Iowa, and lived in the Williamsburg/Amana, Iowa, areas before moving to Trenton, Mo., in 1994. She moved to Nebraska to live with her daughter in 2009.
She is survived by her daughter, Laura (Barry) South Casey, LaVista, Neb.; one sister, Carolyn (James) Newman, Mount Vernon; three brothers, Ron (Debi) Miller, Dysart, Lyle Miller, Mesa, Ariz., and Eldon Miller, Anoka, Minn.; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Al South and Jim Dabler; her parents; and a brother, Dale.
